I heard it through the grapevine ~ E. Blunt
Let me tell you a story about a little girl, me of course. I was 5 years old when my parents sent me to my aunt and uncle's place for the summer. All I know is that my mom was sick and dad had to work a lot. I was their only child. I can remember my uncle taking me to a picture show at the theater. I can remember him "accidentally" dropping popcorn down my dress and was eating it off my clothes as he slowly started rubbing my privates and asked if I wanted a soda or candy/ I felt very uncomfortable, but said sure , so he would stop touching me.
So when he got back and handed me a candy bar, he lifted my dress and started to massage my privates, I started to yell out and he quickly covered my mouth and said "SHH" we are in a movie theater. So me, trying not to make a scene, remember telling my aunt when I came home and he said all that happened was the popcorn fell out of the container, and that he helped wipe it off me.
Well, my aunt didn't believe so I can remember crying in the guest room where they had no children of their own.
Within a few days my aunt was called into work at the hospital, because someone didn't show up for work so she had to pull a double.
Well my uncle came into my room and had a story book with him and asked if it was ok to read it to me, I was still a little scared, but said "OK,"
Well as he was reading it to me as he inched closer and closer holding my shoulder, and telling me that he only touched me because he loved me.
So once again he begin rubbing me as he told the story and said this is our little secret. He then said he had a surprise for me as he unzipped his pants.
He then forced me to suck his lollipop he called it, until something nasty came out and I gagged. He kept telling me I was a good little girl, and the "milk would help me sleep better.
I can remember the next day I once again told my aunt and she confronted him and I was sent back to my parent home. The incident was never talked about again, and that was one of the last times I saw my aunt until I was in high school, and she came over, and I remember her having a black eye, they told me it was from the kitchen cabinet, but I always suspected it was my uncle.
Well now that I am much older and have grand-kids of my own, I want them to be safe and not experience the evil men in our world. I hope my story helps people understand that they need to be careful with their children.
The greatest of Blessings,

So most of you have realized that my husband has written a children's book about tricky people. For kids telling them it is sexual abuse may scare them so the word is "tricky" describing people that may want to hurt our children. If you feel your kids may need to discuss this topic, the image above takes you to Amazon if you would like to order it.
This book gently teaches young children how to:
-
Understand personal boundaries
-
Recognize tricky or unsafe behavior
-
Know the difference between good and bad secrets
-
Use their voice to say “no”
-
Identify safe grown-ups
-
Trust their feelings and get help when something feels wrong.
Prayers,
Mandie & Curtis
