What does it Take?

Well depends on what were talking about, if it's your remote, it might take new batteries.

But let's get serious, You want to make a massive change in your life. Your tired of the same ol same ol day in and day out. I mean who isn't. We all want more from our lives, the real question is what are you willing to do to get there?

Before I explain the 3 keys to get what you want, I want to tell you about "WHY". I know ...I know what does why have to do with what it takes.

That is the profound question.  Let me describe 6 people to you, some you know or at least heard of, but let's start at their beginning.

๐ŸŒŸ Women Who Overcame Adversity to Succeed

1. Oprah Winfrey – From Poverty to Media Mogul

  • Struggles: Born into poverty in rural Mississippi, faced abuse, teen pregnancy, and rejection.

  • Breakthrough: Her natural storytelling and empathy led to a local news job, and eventually The Oprah Winfrey Show.

  • Success: Built a media empire, became a billionaire, and remains a global icon of empowerment.

๐Ÿ’ช Men Who Overcame Adversity to Succeed

1. Les Brown – Labeled “Educable Mentally Retarded,” Became a Legendary Speaker

  • Struggles: Adopted at six weeks old, held back in school, labeled mentally challenged.

  • Breakthrough: A teacher told him, “Someone else’s opinion of you does not have to become your reality.”

  • Success: Became one of the most powerful motivational speakers in the world.

  • Success: Became a successful entrepreneur and authored The Pursuit of Happyness.

Quote: “The future was uncertain, absolutely, and there were many hurdles, twists, and turns to come. But as long as I kept moving forward, one foot in front of the other, the voice of fear and shame would be left behind.”

3. Nick Vujicic – Born Without Limbs, Became a Global Inspiration

  • Struggles: Born with no arms or legs, battled depression and hopelessness.

  • Breakthrough: Chose to view his life as a gift, not a limitation.

  • Success: Travels the world as a speaker, inspiring millions with messages of hope and faith.

Quote: “If I can encourage just one person, then my job in this life is complete.”

They found their WHY, and they didn't quit here are the 3 reasons they stayed committed:

1. Resilience

The ability to keep going despite rejection, loss, or hardship.

  • Oprah endured childhood trauma and rejection before becoming a media icon.

  • J.K. Rowling was rejected 12 times before Harry Potter was published.

  • Chris Gardner raised a child while homeless, never giving up on his vision.

Resilience means they didn’t wait for ideal conditions—they moved forward anyway.

2. Vision or Purpose

A deep sense of mission or belief that their life had meaning—beyond themselves.

  • Malala risked her life to fight for girls' education.

  • Les Brown believed he was born to inspire others, even when labeled mentally challenged.

  • Nick Vujicic found purpose in giving hope, despite severe physical limitations.

Their vision pulled them through their pain—and gave meaning to their struggle.

3. Courage to Act

They didn’t just hope—they acted, even when afraid or uncertain.

  • Rowling kept writing.

  • Gardner kept showing up.

  • Malala kept speaking.

  • Oprah kept producing.

  • Les Brown kept auditioning.

  • Nick kept stepping on stages with no arms or legs.

Courage didn’t mean they weren’t scared—it meant they moved anyway.

So, your WHY, will start you down your path, but it will take dedication, even in small daily steps to achieve your what.

I am constantly hearing, that we are the sum of the 5 most important/closest people in our lives. Their influence will either make or break us, so choose carefully whom you spend your time with.  If you truly want change find mentors and role models you aspire to be like.

Prayers,

Mandie & Curtis

In a world obsessed with external success—money, status, likes, followers—too many people forget the truth: the outer game only works when your inner world is in order.

You can have the best strategy, the best tools, the best opportunities… but if you haven’t built the mindset to match it, you’ll self-sabotage every time.
This book is about building the internal infrastructure that sustains lasting growth.

Why This Book?

Because you’re not here just to survive.

You’re not here to play small, stay stuck, or constantly second-guess yourself.
You’re here to
rise.
To grow into the kind of person who doesn’t just set goals—but
becomes the version of themselves that achieves them.

Growth isn’t random. It’s not passive. It’s not something that happens when conditions are perfect.
Growth is engineered. Internally first, externally next.

But here’s the problem: most people don’t know where to start. They chase results without rewiring their habits, mindset, or belief systems. They try to level up their income or influence while still dragging around the same limiting stories, fears, and excuses.

So they hit walls.
Burn out.
Fall into cycles of progress and relapse.

Not because they’re lazy. Not because they’re not smart.
But because
they haven’t yet mastered the inner game.

This book is your blueprint.

Who This Book Is For

This book is for anyone who knows they were made for more—but feels like something’s blocking them from accessing it.

You might be:

  • An entrepreneur ready to elevate your focus and build a business that reflects your true potential.

  • A creative, coach, or visionary who’s tired of self-doubt running the show.

  • A high-performer who’s reached a plateau and is ready for internal breakthrough—not just external success.

  • A growth-minded individual who knows the work isn’t just in the hustle—it’s in the habits, mindset, and belief system behind it.

    What You’ll Learn

Built to Elevate is not just a motivational book—it’s a systematic guide to transforming how you think, behave, and operate at every level.

    Inside, you’ll learn how to:

  • Break through mental blocks that silently sabotage your progress.

  • Rewire your daily habits and rituals to create unstoppable momentum.

  • Master emotional control so stress, fear, or failure no longer derail you.

  • Build an identity aligned with the person you’re becoming, not the one you’ve been.

  • Commit with discipline instead of relying on motivation.

  • Develop next-level focus so distractions no longer own your time and energy.
